Tadi saya ada terbaca pasal sekolah kita SRK Zainab 2 (to those who went to ZS 1 sorry yek) got listed in 'high-performance skool'. Walaupun dah berzaman meninggalkan SRK Zainab 2 (now SK Zainab 2) rasa bangga tu tetap ada. Tambahan pulak bila baca keratan akhbar kat bawah ni ada mention nama Cikgu besar kita Cikgu Shaidah. Teringat pulak dia dulu digeruni ramai.. hehe.. dia suka panggil kita.. girl...girl... bila dia ronda2 nampak sampah.. dia akan panggil girl..girl.. (suruh pick up the sampah la)
Other than that, masa sambutan hari guru.. paling best tgk cikgu-cikgu kita main netball lawan kakak-kakak darjah 6, saya masih ingat lagi Cikgu Shaidah akan tunggu dekat gol dan cuba shoot ke gol.. sampai tertanggal sanggul dia... seronok sangat bila terkenangkan balik kan..
okeh.. sekian sesi mengimbau kenangan lalu.. it has been nearly 21 years since we left SRK Zainab 2 !!

High-performance schools: For SK Zainab 2, it's all in the name

KOTA BARU: Sekolah Kebangsaan Zainab 2 deserves to be in the list of 20 high-performance schools in the country as it has performed very well over the past 20 years.
Besides being accorded the "Cluster School" category and excellent school awards in 2007, the school also had a high percentage of pupils with straight As in the Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah examination in 2008.
It has won many prizes in competitions and sport tournaments at the state level over the years.
SK Zainab 2 Parent-Teacher Association president Tuan Mahmud Tuan Mat said the most important part that contributed to the school's achievement was its name -- Zainab.
"The name was that of the late Raja Perempuan of Kelantan, who was held in high regard among the locals, especially the elite group in Kelantan.
"SK Zainab had been well known among the Kelantanese over the decades but it became more famous when Shaidah Bahar Rasip was the headmaster between 1969 and 1989.
"During her time, the school won a lot of awards not only at the state-level but also internationally in school debates and quizzes.
"From then on, the school name began to shine like a star and all this could be an advantage to the school to achieve more feats in every aspect."

hai kak..lama menyepi? hehe...satu malaysia dok cakap pasal ZS 2 nih.. kat facebook, dalam blog.me pun tumpang bangga jugak. yepp, i'm still remember che shaidah yg scary itu. dia baik dengan my mom. selalu la dok gaya my mom suh i join tusyen umah dia tu...tapi i x pegi pun ;p
